What you can build with

REST API

JSON over HTTPS for products, variants, orders, customers and inventory, with a published OpenAPI description.

Idempotency keys

Send an Idempotency-Key header on writes. A retried request never creates a second order or charge.

Webhooks

Subscribe to events like order created or stock changed. Every delivery is signed and retried with backoff.

Scoped API keys

Give each key only the permissions it needs, such as read orders only, and revoke it at any time.

MCP server Early access

Let AI assistants that speak MCP (Model Context Protocol) read your store data and take actions you allow.

Rate limits and versions

Clear rate limits per key and versioned endpoints, so your integration does not break without warning.

REST API

Keep your ERP, warehouse or app in step with your store.

Use the API to push stock from your warehouse system, pull orders into your ERP, or build a custom dashboard.

  • Products, variants, stock, orders and customers
  • Idempotency keys on every write request
  • Keys scoped per permission and per store
  • Request logs so you can see what each key did
  • Versioned API with notice before breaking changes
Webhooks

Hear about changes the moment they happen.

Point a webhook at your server and AjVik sends each event as it occurs. Payloads are signed so you can check they came from AjVik.

  • Pick which events each endpoint receives
  • Signature header on every delivery
  • Automatic retries with backoff when your server is down
  • Sample payloads for every event type
  • Endpoints that keep failing are paused and you are told
AI assistants

Ask your AI assistant about yesterday’s orders.

The MCP server lets an AI assistant you already use connect to your store after you sign in and approve it. It can look up orders or stock, and only act where you allow.

  • Sign in with OAuth, no keys pasted into chat
  • Read-only by default
  • Disconnect any assistant from settings
  • Rolling out in early access
How it works

Up and running in minutes.

  1. 01

    Create an API key

In settings, name a key and choose its scopes. Copy it once and store it safely.

  2. 02

    Call the API

Send requests with your key and an idempotency key on writes. Start in a test store.

  3. 03

    Add webhooks

Register your endpoint, pick events and verify the signature on each delivery.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Our team replies within one working day.

Which plan includes API access?

Growth ($79 a month) gets read-only API access. Pro ($299 a month) and Enterprise get full read and write access. Starter stores use the built-in integrations.

Can I try the API before paying?

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. API access follows the plan you choose: read-only on Growth, full on Pro.

What is an idempotency key?

A unique value you send with a write request. If the same request is sent twice, for example after a timeout, AjVik returns the first result instead of doing the work again.

How do I know a webhook really came from AjVik?

Each delivery carries a signature made with a secret only you and AjVik know. Check it before trusting the payload.

What is the MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use tools. AjVik’s MCP server lets a compatible assistant work with your store data. It is in early access.
