B2B and wholesale

Retail and wholesale from one store, with prices only trade buyers see.

Boutiques, gift shops and other retailers apply for a wholesale account. Once you approve them, they log in and see their own prices, minimums and payment terms. Everyone else sees your retail store.

What you get

Approved trade accounts

Retailers apply with their business name, details and resale certificate. You approve, reject or suspend each one.

Tier prices

Put buyers in tiers such as Silver and Gold, each with its own discount off your retail price.

Order minimums

Set a minimum quantity per order and a minimum order value per tier. Checkout will not accept a smaller order.

Trade-only products

Mark products as trade-only. They disappear from your public store and show only to approved accounts.

Net terms and credit limits

Let trusted buyers pay on Net 15, 30 or 45, with a credit limit. New accounts pay upfront until you say otherwise.

Tax-exempt buyers Coming soon

Mark a reseller as tax-exempt once their resale certificate is on file, so sales tax is not charged on their orders.

Trade accounts and prices

Each buyer sees the price you agreed with them.

Create tiers once, then place each approved buyer in a tier. When they log in, the whole catalog shows their price. No separate wholesale site, no line sheets in PDFs that go out of date.

  • Retailers apply from your store; you see the application and their documents
  • Tiers with their own discount, minimum quantity and minimum order value
  • Trade prices applied automatically in cart and checkout
  • Trade-only products hidden from public pages and search
  • Move a buyer between tiers at any time
Net terms

Offer net terms without losing track of who owes what.

Every new trade account starts on pay-upfront. When you trust a buyer, give them payment terms and a credit limit. AjVik checks both before accepting each order, not after.

  • Payment terms in days, set per buyer
  • A credit limit per buyer, checked at checkout
  • Orders over the limit, or with overdue invoices, wait for your approval
  • Balance owed updated as invoices are raised and payments come in
  • Suspend an account in one click if payments stop
Sales tax

Wholesale invoices, with resale certificates on the way.

Retailers buying to resell usually give you a resale certificate instead of paying sales tax. Tax-exempt trade accounts, which keep the certificate with the account and skip sales tax on their orders, are on our roadmap.

  • Buyer business name and details on every invoice
  • Coming soon: resale certificates stored with the trade account
  • Coming soon: sales tax skipped on orders from approved exempt accounts
  • Credit memos for returns and short shipments

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can't find what you're looking for? Our team replies within one working day.

Do I need a separate website for wholesale?

No. Retail shoppers and trade buyers use the same store. Trade buyers log in and see their own prices and any trade-only products.

Can wholesale buyers pay later?

Yes, if you allow it. Each trade account can have net terms in days and a credit limit. New accounts start with no credit, so everyone pays upfront until you decide otherwise.

What happens if a buyer goes over their credit limit?

The order is held for your approval instead of being accepted automatically, and the buyer sees the reason. You can approve it, ask for payment first, or raise the limit.

Can I set different prices for different buyers?

Prices are set per tier. Put buyers who get the same deal in the same tier, and create as many tiers as you need.

How do tax-exempt wholesale orders work?

Tax-exempt trade accounts are coming soon. When they arrive, you will mark an approved reseller tax-exempt once their resale certificate is on file, and sales tax will not be charged on their orders. Whether a certificate is valid for a given state is for you or your accountant to confirm.

Can buyers ask for a custom quote?

Not through the store today. Buyers order at their tier price; for a one-off deal, agree it with them and adjust their tier or create an order for them from your dashboard.
