Does AjVik hold my money?
No. Payments are processed by Stripe and paid out to your bank account on your Stripe payout schedule. AjVik's platform fee is split out when each payment settles.
What does it cost per order?
For online payments through AjVik Payments, the platform fee is 2.5% of the sale on Starter, 2.0% on Growth and 1.5% on Pro, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. Orders paid through PayPal carry no AjVik platform fee; PayPal charges its own fees under your agreement with them. The pricing page has the full details.
When do I receive the money?
On Stripe's payout schedule for your account, directly to your bank. ACH bank payments take a few business days to clear, so those orders show as pending until the payment confirms.
Do you calculate sales tax?
Yes. Sales tax is calculated at checkout from the delivery address and recorded on every order, and you get reports for filing. AjVik does not file or remit sales tax for you; you or your accountant do that.
Do shoppers have to create an account?
No. Guest checkout is always available. Shoppers can choose to create an account to track orders and check out faster next time. Accounts are per store.
Can I send abandoned-cart reminders by text or WhatsApp?
WhatsApp cart reminders are on Growth and above. They use prepaid messaging credits in your AjVik wallet and go only to shoppers who agreed to receive messages. Text-message reminders are in early access. On Starter, cart reminders go by email.
