Four things we won't trade away
The seller is in the room
Before we build a screen, we ask whether a saree seller in Surat or a candle maker in Pune could use it on a phone between customers. If not, it is not finished.
Money is sacred
Orders, stock, refunds and invoices have to be right every time. We test the unhappy paths, such as a double click, a dropped network or a carrier that never replies, as carefully as the happy ones.
Seller data stays theirs
Each seller's data is walled off from every other seller's. We never sell it, and we make exporting it easy. Privacy and security are part of the design, not a review at the end.
Say what is true
On our website, in the product and to each other. If a feature is still rolling out, we say "early access". If we got something wrong, we say that too.

Decisions, specs and trade-offs are written down so anyone can catch up without a meeting.

We release in small steps behind switches we can turn off, and we read what sellers actually do with the change.

We use AI heavily in the product and in our own work, and we check its output like we would a colleague's.
